Educational activity of "Sodalicja Mariańska" students of Jagiellonian University at the twenty years between the wars in context of sodalition movement

The purpose of our topic was to describe the educational activities of the Jagiellonian University students of "Sodalicja Mariańska", an activity which took place on Jagiellonian University ground at interwar period. Studying this subject at work discussing the problems realted with the essence of Christian education, because it has been cultivated in this relgious assocation. Also describes the educational subject and other associations to this type of education. Research method in this work is the monograph teaching, while the reseach technique is the analysis of documents. Analysis of archival material have been collected at the Jagiellonian Library: Documents relating to the activities of "Sodalicja Mariańska" and magazine such as "Miesięcznik Katechetyczny i Wychowawczy" and "Przegląd Powszechny - Sodalis Marianus". The research shows that the association put pressure on spiritual and moral development but also on the intellectual, emotional and physical. In magazines of religion related subject, amond other things raised the issues of education, gender, and gerontologyCelem podjętego tematu było opisanie działalności wychowawczej Sodalicji Mariańskiej Akademików UJ, która to działalność miała miejsce między innymi na terenie Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego w okresie dwudziestolecia międzywojennego. Zgłębiając ów temat w pracy poruszone zostały kwestie związane z istotą wychowania chrześcijańskiego, bowiem było ono kultywowane w owym stowarzyszeniu religijnym. Opisano także podmioty wychowawcze oraz inne stowarzyszenia mające na celu ten rodzaj wychowania. Metodą badawczą w niniejszej pracy jest monografia pedagogiczna, natomiast techniką badawczą jest analiza dokumentów. Analizie zostały poddane archiwalia zgromadzone w Bibliotece Jagiellońskiej: dokumenty związane z działalnością Sodalicji Mariańskiej oraz czasopisma takie jak „Miesięcznik Katechetyczny i Wychowawczy” oraz „Przegląd Powszechny – Sodalis Marianus”. Z podjętych badań wynika, iż stowarzyszenie w swych działaniach wychowawczych kładło nacisk nie tylko na rozwój duchowy i moralny, ale także na rozwój intelektualny, emocjonalny oraz fizyczny. W czasopismach prócz tematów związanych z religijnością, poruszano także między innymi kwestie związane z wychowaniem, równouprawnieniem oraz gerontologią
